Our Story
Miles for Minds is an inspiring charity ride established and led by Cam Farrell in 2025, dedicated to transforming mental health in underfunded Canadian communities. I will be riding solo on an over 1800 km journey from the Halifax, Nova Scotia to the Ottawa Valley—a ride filled with purpose, passion, and the spirit of community. Along the way, I'll be stopping in small towns to share insights on mental health awareness, including key stats and data that highlight the challenges and opportunities we face.
This ride is more than just a personal challenge—it’s a call to action. Whether you’re interested in riding alongside me or supporting the cause from afar, every bit of involvement helps shine a light on the importance of mental well-being. My goal is to raise awareness, encourage dialogue, and generate support for critical mental health services that many communities desperately need.
Every kilometer I ride is a step toward a future where mental health is valued and every mind is nurtured. Join me on this transformative journey of hope, change, and community empowerment—together, we can make a difference.
"Miles for Minds" is dedicated to enhancing mental health awareness and support in underfunded small Canadian communities. Through advocacy, education, and community-driven initiatives, we address critical issues such as limited access to mental health services and the stigma surrounding mental health. Our mission is to create lasting positive change for individuals and families by fostering collaboration, raising awareness, and providing resources that empower communities to thrive.
By raising awareness, funding critical services, and uniting communities, we’re not just pedaling for a day—we’re paving the way for lasting, meaningful change in mental health across Canada.
